Western Music & Cowboy Americana

I didn't write this song, but I picked it up in Estes Park many years ago.  At the last jam we had on your back porch, Wes, you remarked you liked the song.  A couple days ago, I made a video singing "Colorado" on my own front porch, and posted it on Youtube.

I was born in Denver, 4th generation native, descended from homesteaders on both sides.  This is a nicely designed forum.  Maybe I can motivate some others to post their stories.

I remember you singing that song here on the porch. Wes does miss Colorado, that is where he grew up; in Delta. 

I hope that others do post about their music. It is always interesting to me what inspires a writer to write, and what moves the listener
