Western Music & Cowboy Americana

Wow! We had a great time as always this year at Sierra Vista! We played Friday moring at  Imagine Charter School for 2 shows and the kids were all so much fun. There were plenty of questions after the program and one young gal who asked about yodeling came to the Saturday shows to hear Tiffany Jo, international yodeling champion. This year we did not get the opportunity to go sit in on day shows other than our own. Sometimes that happens at festivals. But ,since we shared stages with at least 2 other performers each time, we still were able to hear lots of great music. Joyce Woodson, Joe Green & Purly Gates with Doc West, Tom Hiatt, Stampede! and plenty more. 

I saw a few of our house concert frequent flyers at the Gathering  also and I am anxious to hear what you thought about the event and all the many perfomers.

We saw some old friends and got to meet some new ones, too. I was especially excited about getting to meet and hear Diane Tribbet.  I took her good name and booked her for November of 2009 here at the house and had no doubts it would be a great show. Then when I heard her on stage Saturday night ( inspite of the interruption...) I knew you all are really going to enjoy her show.  We should plan something special for that one....She will be our featured artist for Turkey Jam, a first,  Maybe a trail ride......
